Phil Galatas
Growing up amid the wildlife rich bayous of Louisiana, Phil Galatas enjoyed countless hours observing and studying waterfowl on the marshlands. The carving community recognized his talent early when he entered his first carving competition over two decades ago, and earned top honors in the professional division. Since that time, Galatas has been honored with numerous awards and recognitions, including Featured Carver at the Easton Waterfowl Festival in Easton, Maryland; and Best In World awards at the Ward World Carving Championships, where he now serves as a judge.
