Ashley Rader (Ash) is an artist based in Atlanta, GA specializing in realistic wildlife paintings. Her interest in wildlife and art has begun since she was a child. She has traveled extensively growing up and continuing into her adult life which has provided a unique and broad perspective to her work. Her paintings contain intricate layers that have been painted one fur stroke at a time. The dark and simple composition brings light to the subject and allows the audience to appreciate the beauty of the animals. She strives to evoke an intimate connection with each painting and through this she attempts to cultivate a deep appreciation for wildlife in the details. Her artwork presents a sense of vitality and create a level of realism that can be appreciated from viewing not only from a distance but also up close.
