It has been a long winter here in Missouri and we received a fresh blanket of snow last night. I’m not a cold-weather person but I have to admit it is beautiful. When the Eastern bluebird lands on the spent heads of the sedum plants there is an instant pop of color in the garden, beautiful! While some Eastern bluebirds migrate south during the winter months there is also a population that stays here to keep us company.
