White Tailed Deer - Doe Nurtures Fawn in the Field: out in the open field and exposed the doe is teaching the fawn to be aware of it's surroundings. We regularly see white tailed deer here in in Minnesota in the fields, drinking from the lakeshore, hiding in the woods or running across the road.
