I’ve chosen the European goldfinch to carry my personal message to the world. The fiery band around his beak is bright as courage and friendship. The yellow on his wings is to spread sunshine to each corner of the world. The gold on his breast to bring happiness and warmth... There’s a legend that God was so busy with Creation that He forgot to color the European goldfinch. He daubed in His paintbox for a little gold, a splash of red...whatever was left- and look what a masterpiece!
