As the setting sun splits the trees in a blaze of light, the ruffled grouse glides to a resting place. We note that both the grouse and nature have begun to reclaim the area from man. The overgrown trail and broken split rail fence leading to the lake tell us that at one time this was also man's favorite haunt.
