I had the privilege of watching this Egret from our camper window while camped along the Chippewa River in Swift Falls, MN. It was fun to see ho it scooped up fish and swallowed them whole, neck buldging! Minnows congregte under the foam caused by the rushing water over the nearby dam, and it knows where there minows there are bigger fish to feed on. It was fun to create a tall thin painting to match the shape of the bird & it's refections.
