It takes little effort for me to be inspired to paint canvasbacks. They are about the largest and fastest of our inland ducks and I often call them the 'Kings of Ducks.' These 'Silver Bullets' are pitching in against strong headwinds to an area of the Delta Marsh in Manitoba.
