You know spring has arrived when the first barn swallows appear. High in the sky, they’ll find the right altitude where they can find the most insects. When they are around cows you might see them fly real close to the animals, feeding on flies that are attracted by the livestock. Just watch them for a little bit, their mid-air acrobatics are impressive!
