Hiding in the Reeds

Hiding in the Reeds

About This Artwork

Slowly all bright colors are disappearing from around the pond. The yellow flowers of the March marigold are long gone, the yellow irises and white lilies are gone, and now even the purple of the water mint blooms have faded. On its way to the winter break only ochre and brown tones remain in the garden. That is until the Common kingfisher pays a visit! Boom! An explosion of color has returned! Fireworks!
