Flowering Ginger

About This Artwork

Every morning, when it's still quiet and calm, I take a walk in the tropical garden around the house. The ginger plants is flowering, these clusters look like they're made of plastic! The bananaquits steal nectar from the unopened flowers by making a small hole at the base of the bloom. And just like the bananaquits are enjoying the nectar, the ants love it as well. And in turn the heavenly blue Anole enjoys the ants...
