Flower Patch Visitor

Flower Patch Visitor

About This Artwork

Butterflies are truly a natural indulgence. Their flutter and their color both dominate their life purpose and satisfy my personal sense of delighted aesthetic. They are simply fun to watch and pretty to look at. Further, they are also the perfect subjects for a spring painting. In my composition a blue butterfly settles into a patch of red, pink flowers. It feels the flowers are group of fellow flutterers congregated in the spring grass. Or the flowers attract the blue fly because of the sweet fragrance they provide to the wafting air. In either case, the settled visitor provides a beautiful blue contrast to the floral surround. I certainly enjoyed painting Flower Patch Visitor, and I hope you enjoy its view. As always, thank you for sharing my adventures in art.
