The uniqueness of the pronghorn captured my attention and inspired me to paint its portrait. They are native to the upper American West region and have very distinct features that makes them unusual from other antelopes (i.e. their horns). Due to their environment they're required to be continuously on alert to ensure the survival of their herd. This pronghorn is prepared and seeking to signal his group.
