The barn swallow built a remarkably strong nest under the eave of our barn. They have used the same nest several years in a row now. I just love the sound of the barn swallows flying around the house on warm summer evenings. Now that the brood is almost ready to flee the nest it’s all hands on deck: they need a constant supply of insects!
