The old wooden barns are rapidly disappearing from farms of the midwest, as an artist I will miss them not only from a nostolgic aspect but from the amazing diversity of wildlife that makes these sites their home. Afternoon light created a golden glow to this abandoned farmstead scene, one in which we would often see deer and pheasants.
