There is no place more wonderfully secure than in A Mother’s Embrace. It pushes out all sense of fear and concern and works to create loving bonds that will last a lifetime. As a part of my Animal Accents collection, I explored this enduring emotional reality for a group of elephants enjoying a moment in an early evening light. Trunks intertwine as the mother looks down in adoration on her two calves while her babies return the gaze upward into the familiar face of their cherished matriarch. Such pachyderm families can stay together for years while the youngsters gain their footing and hone their ability to survive. I hope you enjoy this view of togetherness from the heart of the African continent to your home wherever that may be.
