Simple Times, Treasured Moments... The Art of Robert Duncan. Stirring warm memories, Robert Duncan's paintings of Americana reflect his love for family, the open countryside and a rural lifestyle. Helping out on his grandparents' 10,000 acre ranch in Wyoming each summer, Robert Duncan fell in love with the beautiful land - where the Green River flowed and life was spent close to nature. He drew constantly from the age of five; studying art at the University of Utah and, after graduation, working as a commercial artist. Duncan initially made his name with his paintings of the American West, and for a time was a member of the Cowboy Artists of America. Eventually, this father of six branched out to focus his art on family, friends and the beautiful scenery around his northern Utah home.
